Families
The handbook, forms, lunch and everything else families need day to day.
The school day
Doors open at 7:45 a.m. and classes start at 8:10. Kindergarten ends at 2:45 p.m. and every other grade at 3:15. After-school care runs until 6:00 p.m. in the arts barn.
Arriving late or absent
Call the office at (555) 010-0100 before 9:00 a.m., or email attendance@riverbend-academy.example.
Lunch
Hot lunch is served every day, with a vegetarian choice. Menus go home with the Friday folder. Families who qualify can receive free or reduced-price lunch; ask the office for the form.
The family handbook
The handbook covers the calendar, uniforms, health and safety, and how to reach every teacher. A printed copy goes home in August, and the office has spares.
Getting involved
The Riverbend Family Association meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the library. Everyone is welcome, and there is always coffee.
