Science Night fills the gym

More than two hundred family members and neighbors came to Science Night last Thursday, and the gym has rarely been so loud.

Forty projects lined the walls. Grade 4 built water filters from sand, gravel and charcoal, and tested them on samples from the river. Grade 7 showed off the weather station they built this fall, which now posts a reading to the school’s front display every ten minutes.

Thank you to the Riverbend Family Association for the snacks, and to every family who came out on a school night.
